Types of models
Then we go onto talking about all the different kinds of vehicles that can be bought in a kit. We discuss the different subcategories of these and how a lot of them lean to war style models.
Car / Trucks- A huge section where a lot of the beginners start. Tons of different kinds.
Planes- War & Commercial
Helicopter- War and some regular types like Medical or news choppers
Boats- War, Sailing or cruise ships
Tanks- Mainly war, Have you seen any other kinds driving around?
Trains- Older style, Newer – People spend lots of time on these. Not only the trains them self but on all the scenery and electrical as well. Plus there is so many different scales that can be made. We talk about another podcast that i enjoy listening to that focuses more on this topic. Check it out I am sure we all can learn a lot from them. Here is the link to their show in Itunes http://itunes.apple.com/ca/podcast/model-railcast-show/id267135824
Toys- All kinds from robots, Star wars to even an alien from alien vs predator

Modern made car kits
Here we get a bit more in depth with what some of the newer style cars that are being made into model kits. This is only a few of what has come out, but it is to show you how modern these cars are getting in the scheme of things.

Oldies
Next we get into the older style of cars that are being made into kits. Like the VW Samba bus that i made for my wife.

Then we go to another company that looks like they spent a lot more time on the art side. Including a Poster that comes with the kit.

You may know noticed that I talked a lot about revel in this episode. Well I am a big believer that revell makes good kits when it comes to quality easy-ish kits. Now when it comes to trains and planes I will show you some other brands that do a better job with quality and detail.
